Good news! The Smoking Gun EP is now available in Japan! That's right--record stores in Japan are now carrying the EP, which we're really stoked on. Many thanks to our new friends Graham and the kind folks at CR Japan for making this possible. Also, keep an eye out for our ad in AP this month! August 23, 2005 First off, thank you to everyone who came out to our Bottom of the Hill show on Saturday! We were really stoked to see such a packed house, and also to have the honor of playing with the illustrious band they call Nerf Herder. Thanks also to the Teenage Harlets for showing us what real crowd surfing is (Johnny + Surf Board + crowd of people = crowd surfing). We'll be posting up some photos of the show soon...xox August 16, 2005 We've got a great show coming up this Saturday at the Bottom of the Hill in S.F. We'll be sharing the stage with punk rock stars Nerf Herder (remember that awesome song called "Mr. Spock"? or that one tune about Van Halen? Yep, that's them), and the always entertaining Teenage Harlets. Needless to say, this show will be worth your 8 bucks (advanced tickcets). Or get in at the door for $10. We'll also be selling copies of the new "Smoking Gun EP" at the show, along with some rad buttons and stickers and what not. And as always, the EP is available at the very convenient Interpunk. I just got an email from a fan in Brisbane, Australia who just received his order. If he can get it, anyone can, which is pretty darn cool. Ok, enough of my rambling, here are some nifty flyers for the show. xox
August 10, 2005 Here are a few pics from our Slim's show, courtesy of rock'n'roll photographer extraordinaire, Mr. Dodgy. We're missing a photo of Frankie, but for now, visualize him there. Click here for pics! Also, for Flipsides fans, a couple Flipsides tunes are featured on the new Indie Thriller, "The Clique" And our Bottom of the Hill Show is coming up real soon (Aug 20th to be exact). We'll be rockin' with Nerf Herder, and local punk rock faves Teenage Harlets. Stay tuned for more details. Lastly, don't forget to pick up your copy of the new Smoking Gun EP at Interpunk! July 26, 2005 Our record release last Saturday was a great success--thank you to everyone who came out early to see us! We were stoked to see so many folks there. Also, many thanks to all the rad bands on the bill: MTX, the Ghoulies, Teenage Bottlerocket, and Teenage Harlets. If we hadn't been on the show, I would have still been there to see it. Next up, we'll be at Bottom of the Hill Aug 20th with Nerf Herder. In the meantime, the Smoking Gun EP will be making its way around--we'll put up some links soon for locals on where to get it in stores. And as always, it's available at Interpunk and the Ruler Records store. (Interpunk is sold out, but it's being restocked as we speak. xox) July 19, 2005 Yep, the Smoking Gun EP is finally out! A rad SF label called Ruler Records is putting it out--you can Get It Online at Interpunk, or you can do it through good ol' fashioned mail order at the Ruler Rec Store. And of course, we'll be selling the EP and other goodies at our show this Saturday. And if you're diggin' on the artwork, that was done by none other than Tom Bagley (of Chix Diggit record cover fame). He did a killer job, many thanks to him.
